Shutterstock is the workhorse of the industry. Need a photo of a 'dog wearing sunglasses' in 30 seconds? They have ten thousand of them. It's affordable, fast, and the library is updated every single minute.

They've really leaned into AI lately, and it's a bit hit-or-miss. Some of the AI-generated stock photos look a bit 'uncanny valley' if you look too closely. You still have to keep a sharp eye on what you're downloading.

Their video library has improved a ton. I found some 4K drone footage of Sarajevo that looked like it was shot for a movie. It made my travel vlog look way more professional than it actually was.

Good for cheap stock. Subscription model is great. Quality is dropping as they accept AI slop.
