A consumer creates an account
Every review on Credible Captain is connected to a user profile. During sign up, users agree to our Terms and Community Guidelines. This creates accountability and reduces misuse.

A consumer shares an experience
Reviews must be based on a genuine experience. Some reviews are shared organically, others after a business invites feedback. The standard is always the same: real experience, real context.

Reviews are evaluated
Before a review appears publicly, it is evaluated by the Captain’s system. Detection systems analyse signals commonly linked to fake or manipulated reviews, including:
- Unusual posting patterns or bursts
- Repeated writing styles or duplicated phrasing
- Coordinated activity across accounts
- Suspicious timing and behaviour signals
- Compliance with platform guidelines
If a review shows signs of manipulation or guideline breaches, it will not be published as is.

Once a review passes evaluation, it is published and connected to the reviewer profile for transparency and accountability.
Based on verified signals, the Captain awards Credits fairly. Credits update automatically as new experiences are added. Consumers and businesses can flag reviews they believe violate guidelines or may have been missed. Flagging requests an independent review, not automatic removal.
