Communication can be a bit slow. Because they’re so big and spread across so many time zones, it sometimes takes 24 hours to get an answer to a simple question about a project quote. I wish they were a bit more nimble.

Very 'corporate' vibe. Everything is by the book, which is great for compliance but not so great if you need a creative, 'out of the box' solution for a weird branding project. They are definitely more 'science' than 'art'.

If you’re a translator, RWS is a safe bet for steady work. They pay on time, which is more than I can say for some of the boutique shops. The rates haven't changed much in years, but the reliability keeps me coming back.
